Hey there! I'm D.C. Salmon, the guy behind The Newman Adventure series. I'm just a regular bloke from Cambridgeshire, with a bit of Gibraltarian spice thrown in thanks to my mum. I'm a diehard Peterborough United and Edmonton Oilers fan, and when I'm not glued to a screen or a rink, you'll find me coaching the local roller hockey team.
Here's the funny thing: I wasn't a bookworm growing up. School wasn't my forte, and my English grades weren't exactly stellar. But something changed when I hit adulthood. Now, I'm obsessed with writing the kind of stories I love to read: action-packed adventures rooted in the world's most fascinating historical mysteries, a lot like those by Clive Cussler.
My debut novel, An Irish Mystery, is the first in the series, diving headfirst into the legend of the stolen Irish Crown Jewels from Dublin Castle. It's all about the thrill of the chase, the puzzle of the past, and the adrenaline rush of uncovering hidden secrets. I aim for a narrative that grabs you from the get-go and doesn't let go.
